Archival Revival

Laura works on the development & research team and heads up library acquisitions and materials management. She received her MLIS from the University of Wisconsin and B.A. in English literature from the University of Minnesota. As a blogger for the New Learning Times and Archival Revival she focuses on issues in libraries and publishing as they relate to the future of education. Her interest in the future of libraries has led to work on Roomer, a mobile room reservation system for the library and Pocket Knowledge, the library’s social and digital archive. Laura’s professional goals include changing everything, not destroying the library, and maintaining the delicate balance between old skool librarianship and newfangled technology.
